Ive never cared much for normal. The beige predictable lives most people choose either from Lack of imagination or just for the sake of what’s expected bore me to tears. I maybe just never connected to normal, didn’t fit, don’t want it… give me literally any subculture hidden in plain sight and I’m all in! Not that I want to live the lives that fascinate me but I love to see anyone bend the rules and create something that most could never imagine, to succeed against the odds. I love unconventional and unexpected.

We don’t celebrate the failure of the many but it’s necessary to contrast the few that manage to escape, not merely to survive but to thrive. There is beauty in all this darkness and that is what I’m chasing.
